"Congratulations to The Shield Team, especially Steve Pike for the best ever British Open I have shot with a shotgun. It wasn't so much a level 3 match more a 3.66. Two thirds of a European Championships, fourteen stages shot in a day. The Euros are 21 in three days!
"Some really challenging and fun stages to shoot. 70 competitors, and tenth of whom came from overseas. It was a long day, even longer days for the range crew. The match was demanding physically and mentally. It tooks it's toll on your knees, your strenth and your gun. But it was always going to be fun to shoot. Excellent prize table. All the usual winners with a few surprize good performances, (Harvey Junior was 4th (Yes 4th!) in Standard Manual.
